
Salvadoran Red Silk Beans (Frijol Rojo de Seda) is a popular bean used in in Salvadoran and other central american kitchens. It is a smaller and much more dark red bean in comparison to red didney bean. Its flavour profile is also more robust with a rich creamy texture when fully cooked. Allow for slightly longer cook time than kidney beans or pre-soak a day before cooking.
